About Agape Healthcare ltd

Based in the heart of Birmingham, West Midlands to offer a professional Domiciliary Care, Occupational Therapy, holistic therapies, Health and Social Care Training and Care Agency. We aim to provide a high standard of care that will enable our service users to maintain their dignity, respect and independence in their own homes. This will be achieved by promoting a standard of excellence which embraces foundational principles of good care practice. Our service emphasises the importance of staff completing their duties\tasks discreetly, efficiently and to the highest standards. We aim to be flexible and respond to our service user's needs fully and professionally.

    Our service is available to adults and children from the age of 13 regardless of gender, sexuality, disability, religion and culture. In addition, we also offer Holistic Care, which aims to meet not just the physical, but also the emotional, spiritual and psychological needs of the people we look after. You can get help with day to day tasks, home based care, as well as therapy and training.

    Domiciliary Care Service

    We support individuals to remain independent in their own homes by providing home care support staff. Individuals are able to collaborate in developing their care plan to meet their required needs. All our care needs assessments are carried out by an Occupational therapist to enable an inclusive holistic care plan.
    Agape is committed to offering a tailor-made service that will meet the individuals cultural, emotional, physical, mental health needs as well as their physical, nutritional and medication provisions.

  • Once you or your family decided on which activities you would like our carers to support and at what level.
  • Contact Agape to arrange a care needs assessment with our Occupational therapist.
  • Care needs assessment will be conducted with yourself and family where a care plan will be developed collaboratively. This will include the times, length of the call, and how/what activities will be conducted during the allocated time.

    Occupational therapy is the engagement of meaningful and purposeful activities to manage and maintain independence following physical or mental illness. This form of therapy encourages rehabilitation using activities of daily living interventions.

    Training - Agape Healthcare Ltd is an accredited centre offering Adult Health and Social Courses. Our courses are a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical sessions that are designed to develop your ability and confidence to work in any care setting. The care certificate is designed for new care staff, it is also offering opportunity for existing care staff, service users and their families to refresh or improve their knowledge. The care certificate was developed jointly by Skills for Care, Health Education England and Skills for Health. It replaces Common Induction Standards.
    At Agape we maintain safety by ensuring that all staff have the credentials to facilitate the role to a high standard. We offer an extensive training package which allows all staff to be well informed and confident in working independently. Regular supervision, shadowing and one to one support is also available.

    Agape has a mixed selection of skilled senior and junior care assistance\support workers, nursing input (on allocated packages and identified needs) Qualified counsellor, occupational therapist, sports therapist, personal trainer, health mentor and beauty therapist.

    All who have joined the team have become part of our extended family. We are able to provide work to individuals to all who are parents. require flexibility and to work around their own limitations and needs. Being an employee of Agape will be beneficial for you as we support career progression. We have had staff in the past who have now become an occupational Therapist and a Nurse after starting their care work within Agape Domiciliary service. Our agenda is to employ workers from all demographics and we are proud to demonstrate this with having employees who are over 50 to employing staff from the age of 17 years.
